The objective of the project was to identify and resolve critical points on the network and prepare the network for the future (new timetables and new vehicles).
Model of the DC traction network. The following problems are solved using the simulation tool: - Is the voltage of the contact wire within the values defined in EN50163? - How much energy do the new vehicles consume? - Are additional substations needed for the infrastructure? - What is the impact of the new timetable on the infrastructure?
